Property Taxes and HOA fees
The property tax rate in Harvest Green is 3.03%. The community is located in a Municipal Utility District (MUD). MUD provides water/sewer services to residents.
The annual HOA fee is $1,210. This covers all the amenities and maintenance.
When a home is resold in Harvest Green, the seller pays a foundation fee (usually ranging from .25% to 1% of the sales price), along with an HOA capitalization fee paid by the buyer. These fees pay for maintenance and improvements to the community’s amenities and services, ensuring that Harvest Green continues to thrive.
More specifically, the Foundation fees for the Harvest Green community are used to support expenditures for community events (get ready, there are lots of events here), clubs, groups and sports, health and wellness programs, and technology and education.

Farm Amenities
When I toured Harvest Green, I was amazed with everything I saw! I mean, what community has a 12-acre working Village Farm located right in your own neighborhood? This incredible feature lets residents enjoy fresh produce grown on-site and join the Farm Club and Farmers’ Market for a genuine farm-to-table experience. The Farmers’ Market is open every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Village Farm.
In addition to becoming a member of the Farm Club, Harvest Green also has a Veggie Share Program available where residents can sign up (the fee is $21 per week) and get fresh, produce delivered straight to their door without having to step on the farm.
Harvest Green Village Farm includes fields, a greenhouse, homes for goats and chickens, plots where residents can grow produce for their own use and an event lawn for hosting community events like Farmers Market and agricultural festivals.
